There’s always news about climate change. Celebrate heroes like former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg and work against disastrous leaders like Presidents Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro (Brazil).
The critical Amazon Rain Forest is being decimated, wild fires rage out of control in Siberia and the American west, record temperatures, devastating storms, and rising seas are becoming the new normal.
At the same time, there are mayors, governors, senators, and world leaders fighting climate change. Four of the biggest automakers in the world – Ford, Volkswagen, Honda, and BMW have agreed to new fuel efficiency standards (contrary to Donald Trumps’ executive order doing away with regulations). Many other companies are taking action like IBM, Starbucks, and Verizon.
Then there are organizations like Greenpeace, Sierra Club, The Nature Conservancy . . . too many to list. Their goal is to save the Earth and all our precious critters (including us).
Finally, there’s YOU.
Educate yourself on the subject. Share the mini book Is Your Wonton Soup Endangered?, talk, donate time and money, and follow the news!
